Cannot Access the World Family Tree Online Subscription
Make sure you're only trying to access the archive you subscribed to. Subscriptions are per volume. Carefully
follow the instructions on our Web site for accessing and transferring the
trees to your computer.
Make sure you're using the same browser and computer you used when you first
ordered the subscription.
If you are a Family Tree Maker user, you must access the Web site via the
same method that you used when subscribing to the online volume. If you clicked
the Online button when you subscribed, try clicking the Online button
to access them. If you went directly through your Web browser and did not
use Family Tree Maker's Online button, you must use this same method again.
Make sure you're accepting cookies. We've posted instructions for enabling
cookies in Netscape and Microsoft
Internet Explorer. Also, there are programs and browser plug-ins that will
block cookies for security reasons--either disable or uninstall this program
or plug-in if you have this type of software. Family Tree Maker stores a cookie
on your hard drive when you submit your online registration; it uses this
cookie to verify your account each time you revisit us. This allows you to
use the special Family Tree Maker Online features that are reserved for our
customers and any other features that you have subscribed to, such as online

Empty the Web browser's cache and history (these are called Temporary Internet
Files in Internet Explorer). We've posted instructions for emptying the cache in
