Notes for Champe Brockenbrough:
After the death of his brother Rev. John Champe Brockenbrough, at the age of thirty-three in 1808. Champe Brockenbrough became the legal guardian of his nephew Austin Brockenbrough. He sold his fathers Mulberry Island and "Crowley's" on July 31, 1802, to Richard Barnes, Jr.
